Product introduction

LWGY series liquid turbine flowmeter is the main type of velocity flowmeter. When the measured flow body flows through the turbine flowmeter sensor, under the action of fluid, the impeller is forced to rotate, and its speed is proportional to the average flow rate of the pipeline. Meanwhile, the blade periodically cuts the magnetic field line generated by the electromagnet to change the magnetic flux of the coil. In the coil will be induced pulsating potential signal, that is, electrical pulse signal, the frequency of this electrical pulsation signal is proportional to the flow of the measured body.

Working principle

Fluid flows through the sensor shell, because the blade of the impeller has a certain Angle with the flow direction, the impulse force of the fluid makes the blade have a rotational torque, and after overcoming the friction torque and fluid resistance, the blade rotates, and the rotational speed is stable after the torque is balanced. Under certain conditions, the rotational speed is proportional to the velocity. It is in the magnetic field of the signal detector (composed of permanent magnetic steel and coil). The rotating blade cuts the magnetic field line and periodically changes the magnetic flux of the coil, thereby inducing electrical pulse signals from both ends of the coil. The signal is amplified and shaped by the amplifier to form a continuous rectangular pulse wave with a certain amplitude, which can be transmitted far to the display instrument. Shows the instantaneous flow and cumulative volume of the fluid. In a certain flow range, the pulse frequency f is proportional to the instantaneous flow Q of the fluid flowing through the sensor, and the flow equation is:

Q=3600×f/k

Formula:

f- Pulse frequency [Hz];

K- The meter factor of the sensor [1/m], given by the check list. If [1/L] is the unit Q=3.6×f/k;

Q- instantaneous flow of fluid (working condition) [m3/h];

3600- conversion factor;

The instrument coefficient of each sensor is filled in by the manufacturer in the verification certificate, and the k value is set in the supporting display instrument, which can show the instantaneous flow rate and the cumulative total.
