Product introduction
The compact, robust pressed aluminum housing of the FBM204 provides physical protection of the electronic circuit. The cabinet is specially designed to protect FBM installation in a variety of environments, even harsh environments as defined by ISA standard S71.04.
This component performs the required signal conversion function to convert an electrical signal from a field sensor into an optional redundant fieldbus signal.
The channel-isolated 0-20mA input/output module FBM204 has four 20mA dc analog input channels and four 20mA dc analog output channels. Each input channel can accept an analog input, such as a 4 to 20mA transmitter or a self-powered 20mA signal power supply. Each output drives an external load and produces an output signal from 0 to 20mA.
