Product introduction
(FBM220/221) provides communication between fieldbus standard field instruments and I/A systems. The FBM220 supports one H1 port, and the FBM221 supports four isolated H1 ports.
The fieldbus is designed to adopt full digital bidirectional communication for process measurement and control instruments. The H1 bus is designed to be both digital and 4 to 20mA standard. With shielded twisted pair, field equipment can be installed up to 1,900 m (6,270 ft) from the FBM220/221.
The FBM220/221 supports standard fieldbus functional blocks (AI,AO,DI,DO) that pass all block parameters to the I/A control system via the I/A series of high-speed redundant Ethernet buses.
