Product introduction
This isolated discrete input interface assembly (FBM217) provides 32 input channels, each of which accepts two-wire DC voltage input. The associated terminal assembly accepts discrete inputs of 60V ac, 120V ac/125 Vdc, or 240V ac. These channels are group isolated, and components are electrically isolated from each other but there is no isolation between channels in the same component.
The compact design and robust pressed aluminum housing of the FBM217 components provide physical protection of the electronic circuit. The cabinets are specially designed to provide all types of environmental protection for FBM installations, even in harsh environments as defined by ISA standard S71.04.
