Product introduction
The BM218 component supports HART common instructions as A necessary interface between the field device and the database of the I/A Series system. As the HART communication field equipment master station, it enables the I/A Series system to request and receive 2 digital messages per second from field equipment.
The information pass capability can be used to support HART general instructions and device specified instructions. These instructions can be executed using the intelligent field device configurator (IFDC see PSS 21S-8A3 B3). Components provide isolated power to each channel.
